How to Check the CTET February 2026 Result
The CTET result is published as a roll-number-based scorecard; no candidate login or password is required. Follow these steps to check your qualifying status:
- Open the official CBSE results portal at results.cbse.nic.in (the CTET link is also mirrored on ctet.nic.in).
- Click the exam-specific result link titled along the lines of "CTET February 2026 Result / Scorecard" appearing on the results homepage. Do not rely on third-party direct links — always open the result through the official portal.

CTET Qualifying Marks and Category-wise Cut-off Pattern
Unlike recruitment exams, CTET does not publish category-wise cut-off lists or a merit ranking. The pass mark is a fixed qualifying percentage set by CBSE in line with NCTE norms:
- General / Unreserved category: 60% aggregate marks in the concerned paper (90 out of 150 marks).
- Reserved categories and relaxation-in-age candidates: 55% aggregate marks (approximately 82 out of 150 marks), as permitted under CBSE's relaxation norms for candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC and other categories entitled to relaxation.
Candidates scoring at or above the qualifying percentage are shown as "Eligible/Qualified" on the scorecard. Since CTET is qualifying in nature, scoring marginally above or far above the pass mark does not change eligibility status and does not generate any rank or preference order — every qualified candidate holds the same eligibility value. Recruiting agencies (states, KVS, NVS and others) then conduct their own selection processes where marks, interviews or other stages may matter. Because the final result is prepared on the basis of the final answer key after resolving all challenges, the published result is treated as final, and CBSE does not issue a separate category-wise cut-off PDF for CTET.
Selection Process and Next Stage: Certificate Issuance
There is no interview, document verification or further selection stage within CTET itself. The next step after the February 2026 result is purely administrative:
