The Office of the Chief Executive Officer, Zila Panchayat, Uttar Bastar Kanker (Chhattisgarh) has issued Advertisement No. 4626 & 4627/जि.पं./VB-G RAM G/लेखा-स्था/26-27 dated 17.10.2026 inviting online applications from local residents of Chhattisgarh for contractual appointment against 04 vacant posts of Lekhapal (Accountant) under the Viksit Bharat Rojgar & Aajivika Mission Gramin (VB-G RAM G).

Vacancy Details (04 posts)

Reservation is as per the prevailing roster. The number of advertised posts may be increased or decreased depending on availability of funds under VB-G RAM G before issue of the appointment order.

Educational Qualification

• B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce) with 55% marks (for SC & ST candidates 50%); candidates belonging to the Bastar and Surguja divisions must have passed in second class.

Merit / Selection Marks (Total 100)

Only experience of working in Government rural development schemes at the same or higher pay scale is counted. To claim experience marks, a copy of the appointment order and an experience certificate (along with NOC from the current employer, if still serving) must be attached.

Age Limit & Domicile

• The applicant must be a local resident of Chhattisgarh state.
• Minimum 18 years and maximum 35 years as on 01.09.2026. Age relaxation as per orders issued from time to time by the General Administration Department, Government of Chhattisgarh, shall apply.

Pay & Contract Terms

• A consolidated monthly honorarium will be paid for the post — no special pay, dearness allowance, compensatory house rent allowance etc. will be admissible; enhancement of honorarium is subject to approval of the Finance Department and Government instructions.
• Contract appointment is for 1 year, and may thereafter be continued for further periods of 1 year by mutual consent on the basis of work performance, capacity and conduct.
• Governed by the Chhattisgarh Contract Appointment Rules 2012, and (for leave) the Chhattisgarh Civil Services Contract Appointment Rules 2012.

• Applications are accepted online only through the link https://zpkanker.indicompute.com/ (available from the district website www.kanker.gov.in) up to 01.11.2026, 12:00 midnight. No application can be made after the prescribed date and time.
• Attach self-attested copies of all educational / experience testimonials and certificates. Applications based on erroneous or false documents will be rejected, and legal action may be taken.
• Documents required: 10th / 12th marksheets, B.Com marksheets, one-year diploma (if any), Chhattisgarh domicile certificate, permanent caste certificate (for reservation), non-creamy layer income certificate (for OBC), disability certificate issued by the Medical Board (for persons with disabilities), live registration certificate from the Employment Office (mandatory), experience documents and NOC (if in employment).
• The candidate must possess the prescribed educational qualification on or before the last date of submitting the application; no qualification acquired thereafter will be considered.

Selection Process

1. A provisional list of eligible / ineligible candidates is published on the notice board for claims and objections.
2. Eligible candidates are called for document verification in the ratio of 1:5; no second chance is given for incomplete documents or absence.
3. Candidates with the highest qualification are then called for the computer practical test (carry Aadhaar / PAN card as photo ID). No TA/DA is payable for attending verification.

Important Notes

• A candidate who already has 02 living children, or whose next delivery takes place on or after 26 January 2001, is not eligible; the general conditions of the Chhattisgarh Civil Services (General Conditions of Service) Rules 1961 also apply.
• Candidates earlier separated for irregularities in any scheme of the Panchayat & Rural Development Department, or whose contractual service was not continued, are not eligible.
• On selection, the candidate must execute an agreement bond (50 Rupees) with the employer.
• The advertisement / appointment and reservation matter is subject to a writ petition pending before the Hon'ble High Court of Bilaspur.
