The selected candidate will be expected to:
Develop and maintain an active research agenda in international business law.
Publish research in peer-reviewed journals, academic books and book chapters.
Seek and secure external research funding.
Participate in international conferences and academic networks.
Contribute to peer-review activities and academic editorial work.
Communicate research findings to academic, professional and public audiences.
Teach courses within the Department of Law.
Supervise student research and support research assistants and doctoral researchers.

Applicants must possess:
A PhD in Law.
Appropriate research and publication experience in international business law, particularly corporate or contract law.
Demonstrated commitment to advancing academic research.
Experience participating in externally funded research projects or teams.
Evidence of successful university-level teaching.
Active engagement with international academic and non-academic stakeholders.

The initial appointment will normally be offered for a fixed term of five years. Subject to a successful evaluation and completion of an agreed performance plan, the position may transition to an unlimited contract by mutual agreement.
