The Women and Child Development Department, Odisha (WCD Odisha) has released the Recruitment 2026 notification for the post of Anganwadi Worker under Advt No. 125e/ICDS. Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: Indian citizen, preferably local resident of the Anganwadi Centre service area.
- Educational Qualification: Minimum +2 (12th pass) from a recognised board / council / institution.
- Age Limit: 18 – 35 years.
- Gender: Female candidates only.
- Marital Status: Married women preferred (per WCD norms).
Age Relaxation
- SC / ST / OBC / Orphan / Widow / Daughter (biological or legal) of deceased parent / Physically Handicapped (more than 40%) / Destitute / Divorced / Abandoned women / Women with higher educational qualification / Women who have completed ECCE programme / Women who have previously worked as Balwadi Worker in the village — 10 years.
