Cut-off correction dated 9 October 2026
Corrigendum No. WBPRB/NOTICE-2026/17 (CONS._WBP_24) dated 09.10.2026 states that the statement of cut-off marks uploaded with the provisional selection list did not show the cut-off for UR (NVF & HG) and UR (Ex-Servicemen) male candidates because of a technical glitch. The cut-off marks for both these categories are to be read as 61.5.
High Court order on horizontal reservation dated 14 October 2026
Notice No. WBPRB/NOTICE-2026/19 (CONS._WBP_24) dated 14.10.2026 states that, in compliance with the order of the Hon'ble High Court, Calcutta dated 12 October 2026 in WPA No. 6594 of 2026 (Sankar Kari & Anr. vs The State of West Bengal & Ors.) and WPA No. 9537, 9538 and 9541 of 2026, all appointments made in the horizontal reservation category for this recruitment shall abide by the result of those writ petitions, as the issue of horizontal reservation is pending adjudication before the Court.
