Qualifications & Eligibility
- As per Gujarat Public Universities Act-2023, Gujarat Public Universities Uniform Statutes 2024, and prevailing norms of UGC, AICTE, NCTE
- Statute No. 131 of Gujarat Public Universities Uniform Statutes 2024
- Educational qualification as per UGC/AICTE norms for Assistant Professor
- Candidates with proven research track record may be given priority
- Allied/relevant specializations may be considered if no suitable candidate for specific specialization
Remuneration & Terms
- Consolidated Remuneration: ₹40,000/- per month
- Contract Period: 11 months (up to end of second term of Academic Year 2026-27) or until regular faculty joins, whichever is earlier
- Purely temporary contractual appointment, no regularization
- Working hours: 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM minimum
- Performance review after 6 months
- Agreement on ₹300/- stamp paper required
General Instructions
- Appointment purely temporary, contractual for 11 months (up to end of second term AY 2026-27)
- Automatically terminates on completion of contract or joining of regular faculty
- No provident fund, gratuity, LTC, medical benefits
- Cannot engage in other part-time/full-time employment
- One leave per month with prior permission
- Working hours: 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM minimum
- Performance review after 6 months
- Agreement on ₹300/- stamp paper at own expense
- No TA/DA for interview
- Reservation as per Government of Gujarat policy
