VSS Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (VIMSAR), Burla, Sambalpur invites applications in the prescribed proforma for the post of Office Assistant on contractual basis under NHM for the State Midwifery Training Institute (College of Nursing). The selected candidate will work in the office of the Principal, College of Nursing, VIMSAR Burla, District Sambalpur. Vacancy Details

Essential Qualification

• Graduation with minimum 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized University.
• Must have passed PGDCA / DCA / MCA / BCA / Odisha State Certificate in Information Technology (OS-CIT) course of Odisha Knowledge Corporation Limited or any equivalent course from a recognized institute.

Experience

• 1 year of post-qualification experience in Health / Social sector.

Age Limit

• Lower age limit: 21 Years
• Upper age limit: Up to 40 Years

Selection Procedure

• Mark Assessment (Graduation): 40 marks
• Computer Test: 40 marks
• Viva-voce: 20 marks
• Total: 100 marks
• A list of eligible candidates shall be prepared on the basis of marks secured in Graduation. From amongst the said list, 10 times the number of vacancies from the top shall be called for Viva-voce Test & Computer Test.
• The final merit list shall be prepared by adding marks secured in Mark Assessment, Viva-voce Test & Computer Test. Candidates securing 50% and above in the Final Panel Merit list shall be kept in the Panel with validity of 01 year from the date of its approval.

Tie-Breaker

• If two or more candidates secure equal marks, the final merit list shall be prepared on the basis of their date of birth as per 10th certificate (elder candidate shall be kept above the younger one).

Special Provisions (OSH&FW Society Employees)

• Age relaxation of 1 year per contractual term of service in the Society up to a maximum of 10 years, over and above the maximum age limit, subject to an upper age ceiling of 55 years.
• Grace marks of 1% of total marks for each completed term of service up to a maximum of 10% of total marks.
• Above provisions also applicable for one family member of a deceased employee of the OSH&FW Society, if eligible.

Documents to be Submitted

• Attested copy of Educational Qualification Certificate and mark sheets of HSC, +2, Graduation, etc.
• Attested copy of Caste Certificate (SC/ST/SEBC), if applicable.
• Attested copy of PH / Ex-Service Man / Sports Man certificate, if applicable.
• Attested copy of Resident Certificate.
• Three recent passport-size photographs duly attested and signed on the backside.
• One self-addressed envelope duly stamped with stamps worth Rs. 45/-.

The envelope containing the application form should be superscripted as "APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF OFFICE ASSISTANT" in block capital letters. Candidates should mention their respective categories on the envelope (UR/SEBC/SC/ST/PH/Sports Man/Ex-Service Man).
