UP Anganwadi Worker Bharti 2026 – Kushinagar

Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS), District Programme Office, Kushinagar, Uttar Pradesh has issued a public notice (Pratraank: -/6132/जिला.का.अधि./आ0बा0/चयन/2026-27) for recruitment of 245 Anganwadi Worker (आंगनबाड़ी कार्यकत्री) posts against vacant honorarium posts in Bal Vikas Parojanas (Child Development Projects) running in urban and rural areas of Kushinagar district. Only female candidates are eligible to apply, and only online applications will be accepted.

Vacancy Details

Total Vacancies: 245 (Anganwadi Worker). Gram Panchayat-wise / Ward-wise vacancy and reservation details are uploaded on the departmental portal upanganwadibharti.in. Vacancy numbers may increase/decrease and will be displayed on the website.

Eligibility Criteria

• Gender: Only female candidates are eligible.
• Education: Minimum qualification Intermediate (12th Pass) or equivalent; maximum up to Post Graduate. Merit will be prepared based on educational qualification.
• Age Limit: 18 to 35 years, calculated from 04.07.2026. Date of birth as recorded in High School mark sheet/certificate is valid.
• Residence: Must be a resident of the same Gram Sabha (rural) or same Ward (urban) where applying.
• Family restriction: From one family, two women cannot be engaged as Karyakatri/Sahayika on the same Anganwadi Centre.
• Income limit: For priority, family annual income up to Rs. 46,080/- (rural) and Rs. 56,460/- (urban) as per UP Govt. Social Welfare Department order.

Selection Process

1. Selection is completely merit-based conducted online through the departmental portal.
2. No written exam or interview will be held.
3. Merit based on educational qualification; preference as per reservation and government orders.
4. If no eligible candidate in any category in a Gram Sabha, selection will be made from the concerned Nyay Panchayat category-wise.

Important Points

• Widow/divorced/abandoned women: husband's death certificate issued by Gram Panchayat Officer / concerned Nagar Nikay and certified copy of family register valid; court order valid for divorced/abandoned cases.
• Income certificate must be issued by competent authority as per UP Govt. Revenue Section-9 order (online verifiable).
• Residence & caste certificates must be digitally signed certificates issued online by Tehsil (online verifiable).
• OBC candidates must have a valid non-creamy layer certificate; caste certificates after 14.06.2015 have income limit of Rs. 8,00,000/- per annum.
• Applications with incorrect/false details or educational records will be rejected; full responsibility of applicant.
• All verification of application numbers, registration numbers of income/caste/residence certificates will be done online by the portal.
• Only online applications via the departmental portal are valid; offline/post applications will not be accepted.

2. Fill the online application form carefully on the prescribed format with correct details.
3. Upload clean and readable self-signed copies of required documents as mentioned in the online form.
4. Submit before the last date 10.08.2026 (till 12:00 noon).
