The selected candidate will contribute to teaching, research, student supervision, and academic service within the Common Law Section.
The Faculty offers Juris Doctor programmes in both English and French, along with postgraduate programmes offered jointly with the Civil Law Section.
The successful candidate will be expected to:
Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Public Law
Conduct and publish high-quality legal research
Supervise student research and graduate work
Contribute to curriculum and programme development
Participate in faculty and university service
Engage with the wider legal and public-policy community
Support the bilingual and interdisciplinary academic environment of the university
Applicants should demonstrate:
A strong academic background in Law
Expertise in Public Law or a closely related field
A record of, or strong potential for, high-quality research and publication
Evidence of effective university-level teaching
Ability to supervise students and contribute to academic programmes
Commitment to collegial service and institutional development
Appointment at the Associate Professor level will require qualifications and achievements appropriate to the rank.
