- High School or equivalent with Science and Mathematics.
- All India/State Vocational Certificate in the relevant trade (Electrician, Electronics or Fitter).
- 2 years relevant post-qualification work experience in the concerned trade.
- Age 18 to 42 years as on 1 July 2026, with relaxation as per rules.

Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UKSSSC) has invited online applications for 78 Technician Grade II posts under Advertisement No. 83/उ०अ०से०च०आ०/2026 dated 5 October 2026. The posts are in Power Transmission Corporation of Uttarakhand Ltd. (PTCUL) and Uttarakhand Jal Vidyut Nigam Ltd. (UJVNL).
