TSU/IRMA Field Investigator / Field Enumerator — 2-Month Contract
The Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA), an Institution of National Importance under the Ministry of Cooperation, Government of India (via Tribhuvan Sahkari University), invites applications for Field Investigator / Field Enumerator positions on a purely temporary 2-month contract basis for the project:
“Sustainable Dairy Farming and Value Chain Development through Primary Dairy Cooperatives: Livelihood Diversification Strategies for Small and Marginal Dairy Farmers in Rural Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh & Rajasthan.”

Key Duties
- Conduct midline surveys of dairy farming households using structured tools.
- Undertake primary data collection via household surveys, interviews, and FGDs.
- Coordinate and assist in training/capacity-building programmes.
- Coordinate with dairy farmers, Primary Dairy Cooperative Societies (PDCS), and local stakeholders.
- Assist in field-level activities; ensure timely, accurate data collection.
- Assist in data verification, documentation, and field reports.
- Support research team in other project-related field activities.
Selection Criteria
- Preferred Qualification: Post-graduate degree in Social Sciences, Rural Management, Agriculture, Dairy Management, Development Studies, or allied disciplines.
- Preferred Experience: Relevant field experience in household surveys, rural fieldwork, or working with dairy farmers/cooperatives.
- Fluent in Hindi and English.
- Good communication, coordination, and fieldwork skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively within assigned districts of Bihar and Madhya Pradesh.
