Tata Memorial Centre - Centre for Cancer Epidemiology (CCE), ACTREC, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai invites eligible candidates for a walk-in interview (on project) for the post of Counselor on Monday, 16th November 2026. Advertisement No. CCE/Advt/376/2026.

Project & Department
The Centre for Cancer Epidemiology, ACTREC (a grant-in-aid institution of the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India) runs population-based cancer registry and tobacco-control projects covering Maharashtra, Gujarat and Goa. The Counselor will receive telephone calls from these states and provide counselling and project support.
Eligibility & Qualifications
Essential: Graduate in Psychology / Social Work or an equivalent discipline from a recognised university. The candidate should be fluent in Hindi, English and at least one local regional language (Marathi, Konkani or Gujarati). Knowledge of basic computer applications is essential.
Desirable: Postgraduate degree in Psychology or Master's in Social Work with specialisation in medical and psychiatric social work. Candidates with prior experience in tobacco control will be given preference.
Emoluments
Pay range for graduates: Rs.30,000 per month. Pay range for postgraduates: Rs.35,000 per month. Engagement is initially for a period of six months or till continuation of the project, whichever is earlier.

Reporting time is 10.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m.
Important Instructions
- The engagement is on a project basis, initially for six months or till continuation of the project, whichever is earlier.
