Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai invites applications for the posts of Senior Research Officer and Senior Documentation and Communication Officer on a contractual basis under Prayas, a field action project of the Centre for Criminology and Justice, School of Social Work, TISS, Mumbai. Advertisement No. ADVT/TISS/PROJECT/PRAYAS/OCTOBER 2026 dated 23.10.2026.
Prayas is a field action project initiated in 1990 as a response to the needs of disadvantaged groups being processed by the Criminal Justice System, aiming at the socio-legal and economic rehabilitation of persons who are at risk of being criminalised, exploited for commercial sex, and those in destitute states.
2 posts are advertised - Senior Research Officer (1) and Senior Documentation and Communication Officer (1) - each with a remuneration of Rs.70,000 per month, inclusive of travelling allowance, for a duration of 12 months, at the TISS Mumbai Campus.
