TISS DH Supervisor Recruitment 2026 – Mumbai Campus
The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai invites online applications for one post of DH Supervisor on a contractual basis (Advt. ADVT/TISS/Supervisor/DH/Aug/2026 dated 11/08/2026). The position is based in the Mumbai Campus.

Essential Qualification
- Option A: Graduation from a recognized university (minimum 55% marks) + Two years of work experience as Catering Assistant in a Star Hotel/Banquet Kitchen/Outdoor Catering Kitchen/Institutional Canteen/Guest House Kitchen.
- Option B: 12th (10+2) pass (minimum 60%) + Certificate Diploma in Hotel Management & Catering from a recognized University/Institute + Three years of work experience as a supervisor in a large hotel/hostel/canteen.
Desirable: Good written/verbal communication in English and Hindi; computer skills; capacity to work with a team.
Job Responsibilities
- Overall supervision of the kitchen and purchase; menu planning with DH authorities.
- Allocating responsibilities to Head Cook, Assistant Cook and Helpers; supervising their work.
- Maintaining employee attendance & leave records; ensuring hygiene and safety standards.
- Managing DH store, cost control and prevention of food wastage; timely bill processing.
