TIFT Agartala Job Details & Overview
Tripura Institution for Transformation (TIFT), the State Institution for Transformation set up under the Department of General Administration (Good Governance), Government of Tripura, with the objective of coordinating good-governance initiatives under the guidelines of NITI Aayog, invites applications from eligible and dynamic Indian citizens for 5 contractual positions. Notification Ref. No. 7(1)/GA(GG)/2023/545 dated 14.10.2026.
The posts are – Senior Program Manager (State Innovation Mission – Tripura), Senior Associate – Operations (State Innovation Mission – Tripura), Sector Expert – Technology & Entrepreneurship, Sector Expert – Industry & Trade and Sector Expert – Economics & Finance, one post each. Post-wise age limit, qualification, experience and remuneration are given in the position details table on this page.
The engagement is contractual, consultant or project-linked as decided by the Competent Authority, for an initial tenure of 11 months, renewable for a further period subject to satisfactory performance, continuing institutional requirement and approval of the Competent Authority. The engagements are temporary and do not confer any right to regular appointment under the Government of Tripura or TIFT. The place of engagement is TIFT, Agartala, with field travel within or outside the State as required.

- Senior Program Manager and Senior Associate – Operations – candidates should be below 40 years of age as on the date of advertisement.
- Sector Expert posts – candidates should be below 45 years of age as on the date of advertisement.
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience is required for every post, relevant to the job description. Internship or training experience will not be considered.
- Excellent verbal and written English skills are required for all posts; working knowledge of Bengali and/or Kokborok is desirable. For the Sector Expert posts, excellent verbal and written English, Bengali and Kokborok language skills are stated in the notice.
