Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), Dept. of Astronomy & Astrophysics, Homi Bhabha Road, Colaba, Mumbai invites applications for 01 Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under the ANRF-funded project "A Data-Driven Reconstruction of the Hierarchy of Black Hole Formation and Evolution over Cosmic Time Using Gravitational Waves" (Advertisement No. 2026/20).

Vacancy Details

Educational Qualification

• MSc (PG degree in Basic Sciences) OR Graduate/PG degree in a Professional Course.
• Must qualify at least one national-level eligibility test (CSIR-UGC NET incl. lectureship, GATE, or exams by DST/DBT/DAE/DRDO/ICAR/ICMR/IISER/TIFR).
• Proficiency in analytical & numerical calculations; coding in Python and C/C++/Fortran.

Age Limit

Maximum 28 years as on closing date of application (per JRF scheme).
