TGPSC Assistant Director of Town Planning Recruitment 2026

The Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC) has invited online applications for the post of Assistant Director of Town Planning in the Town and Country Planning Department, Government of Telangana. Eligible candidates can apply online through www.tgpsc.gov.in.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Minimum Qualification: B.Arch. or B.E./B.Tech. (Civil) or B.Planning / B.Tech. (Planning) or M.A. (Geography) or M.Sc. (Geography) or M.Sc. (Geoinformatics)
• AND
• Post Graduate: Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in Town and Country Planning from a recognized University in India, OR Fellowship/Associateship of the Institute of Town Planners of India, OR equivalent membership of a professional Institute of Planner recognized by UGC.
• Distance Education degrees must be recognized by UGC/AICTE/Distance Education Bureau.

Age Limit (as on 01/07/2026)

• Minimum: 18 years
• Maximum: 44 years (raised from 34 to 44 as per G.O.Ms.No.86)
• Not born after 01/07/2008 (min age) or before 02/07/1982 (max age)

Note: Unemployed applicants are exempted from examination fee. Government employees must pay the exam fee.

Scheme of Examination

Objective type examination (OMR-based or CBRT as decided by the Commission). Detailed syllabus is given in Annexure-II of the official notification.

3. Fill the application form, verify details, select examination centre
4. Pay fee online (Net Banking / Debit Card / Credit Card / UPI)
