Eligibility Criteria
- Essential: Ph.D. in Genetics & Plant Breeding OR M.Sc in relevant subject OR 4/5-year Bachelor's Degree with first division.
- Experience: At least 3 years of teaching/research experience (evidenced by Fellowship/Associateship/Training).
- Publication: At least one research paper in SCI / NAAS-rated journal (> 4.0).
- NET: Candidates with PG in Basic Sciences (3+2 pattern) must have NET qualification.
- Age Limit: 40 years for Men, 45 years for Women as on closing date.
Terms of Engagement
- Tenure: 11 months from date of joining / filling of regular post, whichever is earlier.
- Purely temporary and contractual — no claim for regular appointment.
- Contractual engagements can be terminated at any time without prior notice or assigning any reason.
- One-month notice for resignation; one-month salary in lieu of notice.
- No TA/DA for interview appearance. Medical examination at own expense.
