Qualification (Summary)
- Professor: Ph.D. in concerned/relevant discipline; minimum 10 research publications in peer-reviewed/NAAS rated/UGC-listed journals; API score 120; minimum 10 years teaching/research experience. (For veterinary posts: recognized basic veterinary qualification registered with State Veterinary Council/VCI.)
- Associate Professor: Ph.D. in concerned/allied/relevant discipline; Master's Degree with at least 55% marks; minimum 8 years teaching/research experience; 7 publications; research score 75. (For Civil Engineering: First class at Bachelor's/Master's level, 6 research publications, 8 years experience with at least 2 years post-Ph.D.)
- Assistant Professor: Master Degree / Ph.D. as per UGC norms; for veterinary posts NET/SLET/SET or Ph.D. as per UGC Regulations 2009/2016.
Age Limit
- Assistant Professor: Maximum 40 years (Relaxation: OBC 5 yrs, SC/ST 5 yrs, PwD 15 yrs, Regular UP Govt. Employees 5 yrs).
- Associate Professor & Professor: No upper age limit specified.
