- Matric (10th) with Punjabi as a subject; Punjabi qualifying test (50%+) mandatory (exceptions: blind, riot/terrorist-affected, sweeper appointees).
- Age (01.01.2026): 18–37 (Gen); SC/BC 42; Govt employees 45; ESM per 1982 rules; PwD 47; widows/divorcees 40.
- Fee: Gen/FF/Sports Rs. 1000; SC/BC/EWS Rs. 250; ESM+dependents Rs. 200; PH Rs. 500 (non-refundable).
- Pay: Rs. 18,000–56,900 (Level-1, 7th CPC).
- Selection: MCQ written — Part A Punjabi (qualifying) + Part B merit (−1/4 negative); counselling & DV.
