SSS-NIRE (SSS-NIBE) CPRI Project Staff Recruitment 2026 – 5 Posts (RA/JRF/PA/Field Assistant)
Sardar Swaran Singh National Institute of Renewable Energy (SSS NIRE), formerly SSS-NIBE, Kapurthala (autonomous institution under MNRE) invites applications from eligible Indian Nationals for engagement of Project Staff on a purely temporary and contractual basis under the CPRI-sponsored research project: "Comprehensive Biomass Collection and Analysis from Selective Paddy-Growing Regions of India and Quantification of Paddy Straw Content in Mixed Feed Biomass Pellets." Project duration: 1.5 years.

Desirable Qualifications
- RA: Experience in biomass characterization; ICP-OES/ICP-MS, Ion Chromatography, XRF or similar analytical instruments; data analysis, modelling, AI/ML, Python/R/MATLAB/SPSS/Stata; scientific report writing.
- JRF: Experience in biomass/agro-residue characterization, proximate/elemental/ion analysis, statistical tools.
- Project Associate: Experience in laboratory analysis of biomass/agro-residues, analytical instruments, sample preparation.
- Field/Technical Assistant: Experience in biomass field sampling; willingness to travel extensively across paddy-growing regions; knowledge of sample handling, documentation and MS Excel.
Age Relaxation
Age limit relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST, physically handicapped and women applicants; 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), as per Government of India/Institute rules.
