Railway Recruitment Cell, Southern Railway, Chennai invites online applications from active members of Bharat Scouts & Guides for recruitment against Scouts & Guides Quota in Level-2 and Level-1 posts (7th CPC initial pay) in Southern Railway & ICF for the year 2026-27 (Employment Notice No. RRC-01/S&G/2026-27 dated 19/09/2026).

Open to all regardless of community; no community reservation under this quota. Candidates may apply for both levels separately with separate fee.
Educational Qualification
- Level 2: 12th pass with min 50% aggregate (not applicable to SC/ST/ExSM or higher-qualified); OR Matriculation + Course Completed Act Apprenticeship (technician categories); OR Matriculation + NCVT-approved ITI (technician categories).
- Level 1: Class 10 pass; OR ITI/equivalent; OR NAC granted by NCVT; OR Class 10 with ITI/NAC.
- Scouts & Guides: President Scout/Guide/Rover/Ranger or Himalayan Wood Badge holder; active member for last 5 years with Certificate of Activeness; attended 2 National (or All-India Railway) level events + 2 State level events.

Application Fee

Selection Process (100 marks)
- Written Test / Hybrid (CBT-cum-Physical) Exam: 60 marks (40 objective + 1 essay of 20 marks; 1 hour; Hindi/English; 1/3rd negative marking; qualifying 40% UR / 30% reserved).
- Scouts & Guides certificates assessment: 40 marks.
- Medical standard Bee Two and above.
