Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Limited (SPMCIL), a Schedule ‘A’ Mini-ratna Category–I Central Public Sector Enterprise wholly owned by the Government of India, invites applications in the prescribed format to fill up 4 (Four) posts of Chief General Managers on deputation basis, initially for a period of 3 years (further extension as per Government of India Rules). Advertisement No. 06/2026.
The panel formation is aimed at having a bench strength of Unit/Technical Head available in SPMCIL. The Chief General Managers are liable for transfer all over SPMCIL units and HQ, depending on operational priority and functional requirement.

Eligibility criteria
Qualification – First class B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical / Mechanical / Metallurgical / Electronic Engineering / Printing Technology / Chemical Engineering / Pulp and Paper Technology from a recognized University.
Experience – Officers/Executives working in the Govt./PSUs/Autonomous Bodies/Statutory Bodies, for the post of CGM in SPMCIL on deputation basis:
- Govt. Officers holding an analogous post on a regular basis in Pay level 14 in the pay matrix revised as per the 7th Pay Commission, and PSU Executives in the IDA pay scale of Rs.1,20,000–2,80,000/- (revised as per 3rd PRC); OR
- Officers with 3 years of regular service in the Govt. in pay level 13 in the pay matrix as per the 7th CPC; OR
- PSU executives having 20 years of post-qualification experience, out of which 2 years regular service at E-7 level in the IDA pay scale of Rs.1,00,000–2,60,000/-.
Important date
- The application should reach by 16.11.2026 (through registered/speed post). Applications received after the last date, i.e. after 16.11.2026, will not be entertained.
- Computation of age shall be reckoned as on 16.11.2026.
How to apply
- The application should be submitted in the Proforma given in Annexure-I of the advertisement, preferably type written.
- The outer cover should be superscribed as “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF CHIEF GENERAL MANAGER”.
- The application should be accompanied by self-attested copies of certificates in support of educational qualification, age and experience. Attested photocopies of the complete and up-to-date Annual Performance Appraisal Report and dossiers for the last 5 years including 2024-25 should be made available by the Authority forwarding the application.
- Applications of Officers/Executives working in the Govt./PSUs/Autonomous Bodies/Statutory Bodies must be duly forwarded by the Competent Authority along with the certificate in Annexure-II.
- Application should reach the Joint General Manager (HR), Security Printing & Minting Corporation of India Ltd., 3rd Floor, Tower-G, World Trade Centre, Nauroji Nagar, New Delhi-110029 through registered/speed post by 16.11.2026.
- An advance copy of the application from an eligible candidate shall be considered provided it is duly forwarded by the cadre controlling authority before the interview, failing which the candidate shall not be allowed to appear in the interview.
Selection and general conditions
- Shortlisted candidates will have to undergo an interview and any other selection criteria as deemed fit by the Management.
- Mere conformity to the job requirement will not entitle a candidate to be called for interview.
