The exam in all centres may be conducted at 11.00 AM. Candidates must reach the exam centre by 10.00 AM for document verification.

Note on the source document: Annexure-II is titled “proposed date & time for walk-in test”, while the column heading in Annexure-I refers to an “online written test”. The notification does not reconcile these two descriptions. Applicants should confirm their mode of test and their office’s exact date against the official notification before travelling.

Instructions to candidates

  • Report at the venue at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time for certificate verification, carrying all original documents and certificates with one set of self-attested copies, covering identity, age and educational qualifications.
  • Candidates who have not yet received their final degree certificate need not appear for the test.
  • Those who have earlier undergone training in any office of Spices Board need not apply again, whether or not they completed that training.
  • Candidates selected will undergo training in any of the offices of Spices Board under the mentioned region or regional office.
  • If, at any stage, it is found that a candidate does not fulfil the eligibility norms, or has furnished incorrect or false information, or suppressed any material fact, the candidature will be cancelled. Such shortcomings detected even after selection will make the candidate’s services liable to termination.
  • Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
  • Decisions of the Spices Board on eligibility, conduct of the test, and the selection procedure will be final and binding. No representation will be entertained.
  • The Board reserves the right to modify, alter, restrict, enlarge or cancel the selection process without assigning any reason.
  • All correspondence relating to the selection will be sent to the email address and mobile number furnished by the candidate at the time of application. Candidates should check both regularly.
  • Candidates shall obtain the original degree certificate within two years from the date of issue of the provisional degree certificate. Those who do not obtain it within that period will not be eligible.
  • Validity of the rank list shall be up to one year from the date of publication of results, unless a fresh notification for the same training is issued.
