- English and one local language (Assamese/Bengali/Bodo) as subjects in HSLC
- Computer knowledge with data keying on handheld device + min 6-month computer course certificate from a Govt.-recognised institute
- Valid Employment Exchange Registration Certificate of Assam; NOC if in regular Govt. service
