Reservation for PwBD

Essential Qualifications (Summary)

• Scientist ''C'': M.Sc in Physics/Applied Physics/Optics/Photonics/Electronics from a recognized University/Institution with relevant research experience.
• Scientific Assistant ''B'': Diploma in Computer Software Technology / Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration / HVAC Engineering.
• Technician ''B'': Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC) or Secondary School Certificate (SSC) + ITI pass (not less than 1 year duration) in the relevant trade + three (3) years experience in the relevant field.
• AAO-I: Officers holding analogous posts in DAE/Aided institutions or officers with minimum 03 years regular service in Pay Level-6 (Deputation).
• LDC: Graduate from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks + typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English.
• Security Guard ''A'': SSC or equivalent (2 years relevant experience for civilians); Ex-Servicemen with minimum 15 years service.
• Work Assistant ''A'': Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or equivalent + minimum 1 year experience in the relevant field.
• Halwai-cum-Cook: 10th class pass with Certificate/Diploma in Catering + 2 years experience in a Govt. Department/Undertaking (preferred).

Application Fee

Rs. 500/- for the posts of Scientist ''C'' and Scientific Assistant ''B''; Rs. 300/- for the rest of the posts, submitted through online remittance only. All Women candidates, PwBD candidates, Ex-Servicemen and candidates applying for Deputation posts are exempted. SC/ST candidates are exempted for posts reserved only for the respective category.

Selection Procedure

Scientist ''C'': Interview (a qualifying written test may also be conducted). Scientific Assistant ''B'' and Technician ''B'': Phase I Written Test (qualifying) + Phase II Trade Test. LDC: Written Test + qualifying skill test for typing. Security Guard ''A'': Physical Fitness Test (qualifying) + Written Test. Work Assistant ''A'': MCQ based Written Test. Halwai-cum-Cook: Written Test (qualifying) + Skill test for cooking. AAO-I: Written exam and perusal of APARs.

Age Relaxation

SC/ST – 5 years; OBC – 3 years; PwBD (UR) – 10 years; PwBD (OBC) – 13 years; PwBD (SC/ST) – 15 years; Ex-Servicemen – 3 years after deduction of military service; departmental candidates – 5 years; widows/divorced/judicially separated women – up to 35 years (40 years for SC/ST).
