SGPGIMS Faculty Recruitment 2026 - Advanced Pediatric Center (Phase 1)

Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS), Lucknow invites applications on the prescribed format from Indian citizens for the positions of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor in the Advanced Pediatric Center – Phase 1.

Pay Scale (7th CPC / Pay Matrix)

In addition, applicable non-practicing allowance (for clinically qualified candidates) and other allowances as per Institute rules will be paid. New pension scheme of the Government will be applicable.

Age Limit

• Upper age limit: 50 years as on the last date of receipt of application.
• Age limit as per AIIMS, New Delhi norms. No age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates applying for unreserved seats.
• SC/ST/OBC/DFF/PwD/Ex-serviceman/women candidates who are NOT permanent residents of UP shall not get reservation/age relaxation (treated as Unreserved). For women, caste certificate issued from father’s side only is valid.
• EWS candidates must submit certificate issued by competent authority of UP Govt.

• General: Rs. 2,000 (Non-Refundable Demand Draft)
• OBC/SC/ST/PwD/EWS (UP domicile): Rs. 1,000
• Overseas candidates: US $ 100 or equivalent foreign currency
• DD in favor of Director, SGPGIMS, Lucknow Academic Account, payable at (SBI-Code No. 7789) SGPGIMS, Lucknow. Write name on back of the draft.

• Attach: DD of application fee, 3 testimonials/reference letters specific to this advertisement, caste certificate (OBC within last 06 months), experience certificates, NMC registration certificate.
• Deadline: 31st August 2026 (if holiday, accepted till 05:00 PM next working day).
• Advance applications accepted; proper channel / No Objection Certificate from current employer required before interview.
