The Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital (SGMH), Mangolpuri, Delhi, under the Government of NCT of Delhi, has invited applications in the prescribed format for 52 vacant posts of Senior Resident Doctors on ad-hoc basis (for 89 days or till regular candidates join, whichever is earlier). Interview Notice No. F.1 (325)/SR Interview (Reg)/SGMH/Pt-VI/2022/12848 dated 12.09.2026. Candidates must report at the 4th Floor Conference Hall, Administrative Block, SGM Hospital on 24.09.2026 between 9 AM and 12 PM for registration with requisite documents (photocopy and original). Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: MBBS with PG Degree / Diploma / DNB in the concerned specialty from a recognized University / Institution, as per Residency Scheme.
- Registration: Must be registered with Delhi Medical Council (DMC) with MBBS and requisite PG qualification, or must have applied for DMC registration with proof of having applied at the time of walk-in interview.
- Experience: Must not have completed 3 years of Senior Residency in any recognized institution (regular or ad-hoc). Relaxation for shortage specialties (Radiology, Anaesthesia, Forensic Medicine) per H&FW Dept. circular dated 10.06.2011 — candidates who completed 3 years SR or non-PG candidates with 2 years experience in the specialty may also be allowed where fresh candidates are unavailable (separate merit lists; second-list appointments for one year only, non-renewable).
- Tenure: Ad-hoc appointment for 89 days or till regular incumbent joins, extendable up to a maximum of 3 years (including prior SR service) subject to satisfactory performance, HOD conduct report and written request.
