Shri Govind Guru University (SGGU), Godhra (Established vide Gujarat Act No. 24/2015, State Government University) invites online applications for the posts of Professor (Botany) - 01 and Associate Professor (Mathematics) - 01 in various departments as per UGC Regulations 2018, Gujarat Public Universities Act 2023 and Gujarat Public Universities Uniform Statute 2024.

Eligibility - Professor (Eligibility A or B):

• A(i): Eminent scholar with Ph.D. in concerned/allied/relevant discipline, high quality published work, minimum 10 research publications in peer-reviewed/UGC-listed journals and total research score of 120 as per Appendix II Table 2, UGC Regulations 2018.
• A(ii): Minimum 10 years teaching experience in university/college as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor and/or research experience at equivalent level in University/National Level Institutions, with evidence of successfully guided doctoral candidate.
• OR B: Outstanding professional with Ph.D. in relevant/allied/applied disciplines from academic institutions/industry, significant contribution to knowledge with documentary evidence, with 10 years experience.

Eligibility - Associate Professor:

• Good academic record with Ph.D. in concerned/allied/relevant discipline.
• Master's Degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade, without grace marks).
• Minimum 8 years teaching and/or research experience equivalent to Assistant Professor in University/College/Accredited Research Institution/industry, with minimum 7 publications in peer-reviewed/UGC-listed journals and total research score of 75 as per Appendix II Table 2, UGC Regulations 2018.
• Only PwBD-A category candidates with specified disabilities are eligible. PwD certificate as per Govt. of Gujarat policy required. Reservation as per Govt. of Gujarat policy.

Pay Scale: Pay scales and salary benefits as approved by the Government of Gujarat (UGC pay levels - Professor: Academic Level 14; Associate Professor: Academic Level 13A, as applicable).
