Municipal Corporation of Delhi, Office of the Medical Superintendent, Swami Dayanand Hospital, Dilshad Garden, Delhi-110095 invites applications for the post of Junior Resident (MBBS) on Regular basis (06 months) through walk-in interview.
- Post: Junior Resident (MBBS) — 08 posts (UR 03, OBC 02, SC 01, ST 01, EWS 01)
- Walk-in interview: 27.10.2026 at 11:00 AM; candidates must report at 09:30 AM sharp
- Venue: Office of the Medical Superintendent, SDN Hospital, Dilshad Garden, Delhi-110095
- Appointment for a period of 6 months (regular basis), governed under the Residency Scheme
- Pay Matrix Level 10 plus usual allowances as admissible
- Age limit: UR and EWS not exceeding 40 years, OBC not exceeding 43 years, SC/ST not exceeding 45 years as on 27.10.2026; additional 10 years relaxation for PwD candidates
- MBBS Degree from a recognized University/Institution
- Must have completed one year Rotatory Internship before joining
- Registered with Delhi Medical Council
- Has not completed 1 year of junior residency in any other hospital
- Bank Draft / Pay order of Rs 1000/- (one thousand only) for Unreserved, EWS and OBC candidates
- Rs 500/- (five hundred only) for reserved category (SC, ST) candidates
- Draft in favour of Commissioner, Municipal Corporation of Delhi, payable at Delhi; non-refundable; persons with disability are exempted from fee
- No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview
- Download the prescribed application Performa from www.mcdonline.nic.in and bring it along with photocopies and originals of all required documents (all annexures self-attested) at the time of the interview
- Bring: Date of Birth, Degree/Diploma/Mark Sheet of professional examination, Internship completion certificate, Aadhaar Card, one passport size photograph, experience certificate if applicable, and copy of SC/ST/OBC (with non-creamy layer) certificate if claimed
- Candidates of EWS category should submit the family income certificate before the interview
- Qualification and experience will be counted up to the date of interview
- Number of posts for all categories may increase or decrease, including complete withdrawal; reservation of posts as per GNCTD rules
- 4% of seats out of the sanctioned posts are reserved for Persons with Disability as per Government rules
- In case SC/ST/OBC (with non-creamy layer certificate) and EWS candidates are not available, the post shall be filled for 44 days on ad-hoc basis from candidates of either category, and such appointment shall be terminated immediately if a suitable candidate is found later
- The doctors found guilty of gross misconduct or negligence of duties shall be terminated without notice or payment in lieu of notice period
- Candidates must produce NOC from present employer if working in any organisation, and will be subject to declaration of medically fit
