Eligibility Criteria
- Master’s Degree with 55% marks in the relevant subject (50% for SC/ST).
- The candidate must have cleared NET/SET/SLET, or must have been awarded a Ph.D. degree in accordance with the UGC Regulations, 2009 or 2016 (Ph.D. holders are exempted from NET/SET/SLET).
- Preference will be given to candidates with a Ph.D. qualification and teaching experience.
Mode of Selection
- Applications will be scrutinised by the selection committee based on educational qualification.
- Demo and interview, with the Rule of Reservation followed.
- The date of the interview will be announced later. Candidates scoring high marks will be considered for appointment.
How to Apply
- Submit the application form along with a complete bio-data and relevant documents to the office of the Registrar, Satavahana University, Malkapur Road, Chinta Kunta, Karimnagar – 505002, Telangana.
- The bio-data must include name, address, mobile number, e-mail address, educational qualifications with marks obtained, and copies of the Ph.D. degree, teaching and research experience etc., duly enclosed with attested photocopies of certificates and other documents.
- Hard copies only. Last date: 31.10.2026 by 5.00 p.m.
Terms
- The appointment shall be made purely on a temporary basis and may be terminated without any prior notice.
- Remuneration to part-time teachers shall be paid as per Satavahana University approved rates and the actual number of classes taken in a semester as per the almanac.
- Part-time teachers are not entitled to any benefits from the University except the earmarked wages of part-time teaching arrangements, and the post is in no way comparable to regular teachers.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. No TA/DA will be paid.
- The University reserves the right to cancel or modify the process without assigning any reason.
