SASU Essential Qualifications & Experience 2026

1) Professor in Sports Management / Management (Eligibility A or B)

A. (i) Eminent scholar with Ph.D in concerned/allied/relevant discipline, high-quality published work, min 10 research publications in peer-reviewed/UGC-listed journals and total research score 120 as per UGC (Appendix II, Table 2). (ii) Min 10 years teaching as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor and/or research experience at equivalent level with evidence of successfully guiding doctoral candidate.

B. Outstanding professional with Ph.D in relevant/allied/applied discipline from academic institutions/industry who has made significant contribution to knowledge with documentary evidence, with 10 years experience.

2) Finance & Accounts Officer

(i) Master Degree with at least 55% marks. (ii) At least 15 years experience as Assistant Professor in Academic Level 11 and above or 8 years service in Academic Level 12 and above including as Associate Professor along with experience in Educational Administration OR Comparable experience in research establishment/other institutions of Higher Education OR 15 years administrative experience, of which 8 years as Deputy Registrar or equivalent. Term: 5 years or till age 60 whichever earlier.

3) Librarian

(i) Master Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science with at least 55% marks. (ii) At least 10 years as Librarian at any level in a University Library or 10 years teaching as Assistant/Associate Professor in Library Science or 10 years as College Librarian. (iii) Evidence of innovative Library services including ICT integration. (iv) Ph.D in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation/Archives and manuscript-keeping.
