Office of the Principal District & Sessions Judge, Sarguja (Ambikapur), Chhattisgarh invites applications from Indian citizens for direct recruitment to the following third/fourth class posts (Assistant Grade-3 and Bhritty) in the district establishment, under Letter No. 22/0?-i-/2025 dated 22.07.2026, in accordance with the Chhattisgarh District Judiciary Establishment (Recruitment & Service Conditions) Employee Rules 2023.

Number of posts is changeable as per the notification. Reservation as per rules (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/UR) for Chhattisgarh domicile candidates.
Educational Qualification
- Assistant Grade-3: Graduation from a recognised university + one-year diploma course in Computer from a recognised board/university + knowledge of Hindi & English computer typing. Knowledge of Chhattisgarhi/local dialect expected.
- Bhritty: Class 8th (pre-secondary) pass from a recognised board. Knowledge of Chhattisgarhi/local dialect expected.
Age Limit (as on 01.01.2026)
- Minimum 18 years, Maximum 30 years.
- For Chhattisgarh local/domicile candidates: maximum 40 years; for candidates from other states: maximum 30 years.
- Relaxations for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer), women, PwD, ex-servicemen as per CG Govt rules; in no case maximum age shall exceed 45 years after all relaxations.
- Age proof: High School / Higher Secondary certificate mentioning date of birth.
Selection Process
- Assistant Grade-3: Stage-1 Written Exam (50 objective questions, 100 marks - Hindi, English, Computer, General Knowledge, Chhattisgarhi; no negative marking) → Stage-2 Skill Test (Hindi passage 250 words in 10 minutes + English passage 300 words in 10 minutes on computer - 50+50 marks, Ubuntu Linux, 1/5 mark deduction per error).
- Bhritty: Stage-1 Written Exam (50 MCQ, 100 marks) → Stage-2 Suitability Test (50 marks).
- Written merit at 1:5 ratio for the second stage; final selection on second-stage marks (category-wise merit); waitlist valid for 1 year.
- In case of equal marks, older candidate (earlier date of birth) gets preference.
How to Apply
- Fill the application in the prescribed format (attached with the advertisement / downloadable from the court website).
- Drop the fully filled application in a sealed envelope, clearly super-scribed with the post applied (e.g., "सहायक ग्रेड-3" / "भृत्य"), into the drop box kept at the Office of the Principal District & Sessions Judge, Sarguja (Ambikapur), Chhattisgarh.
- Applications via Registered Post, Speed Post, Courier, Email or Fax are NOT accepted.
- Application window: 23.07.2026 to 13.08.2026 (5:00 PM).
- Attach self-attested copies of: date-of-birth proof, educational qualification, caste certificate, permanent residence certificate, live employment registration (exempt for Govt. servants), disability certificate, etc. Affix a recent passport-size photograph and fill in blue/dot pen.
- Separate application in a separate envelope is required for each post.
