Samagra Shiksha Korba Part-time Yoga / Sports & Music Teacher Recruitment 2026 – Walk-in Interview

Office of the Collector & District Mission Director, Samagra Shiksha, Korba (Chhattisgarh) invites applications from eligible candidates for engagement of Part-time Yoga / Sports Teacher (योग/खेल शिक्षक) and Music Instructor (संगीत प्रशिक्षक) on a purely temporary basis for the 16 PM SHRI schools functioning in Korba district for session 2026-27. Selection is through walk-in interview.

• Posts: Part-time Yoga / Sports Teacher & Part-time Music Instructor
• Scheme: PM SHRI (PM Schools for Rising India), Samagra Shiksha
• Number of PM SHRI Schools: 16 (across Korba, Katghora, Pali, Podi Uproda blocks)
• Duration: Purely temporary; engagement up to 31 March 2027
• Honorarium: Up to Rs. 10,000 per month
• Location: Korba district, Chhattisgarh

Educational Qualification

• Yoga / Sports Teacher: Graduation in Yoga / Physical Education (Sports) or equivalent degree from a recognised university or institution.
• Music Instructor: Graduation in Music or equivalent degree from a recognised university or institution.

Selection Process (Merit Calculation)

• Experience counted from minimum 1 year up to maximum 10 years (1 point per year).
• Only educational qualifications from recognised institutions will be accepted.
• After document verification, school allocation will be done as per merit.

Walk-in Interview Schedule

• Date: 17 August 2026
• Registration Time: 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM
• Venue: T.P. Nagar, Korba (as per notification)

Note: Candidates arriving after the registration time will not be allowed to appear in the interview.

Required Documents

1. Application form in the prescribed format attached to the advertisement.
2. Educational and professional qualification certificates.
3. Aadhaar Card / other photo identity proof.
4. Experience certificates.
5. Latest passport-size photograph.
6. Self-attested copies of all documents and original certificates for verification.

Important Instructions

• Candidates must appear at the scheduled date and time.
• Appointment is purely temporary; no claim for regularisation.
• Engagement is valid up to 31 March 2027; service ends automatically after the fixed term.
• The decision of the district-level committee will be final.
• If documents are found fake during verification, disciplinary/penal action will be taken as per rules.
• Selected candidates must report for duty within the fixed period after receiving the appointment information; otherwise the next candidate in the merit list will be preferred.
