Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) – Engagement of Advisors in DSP & ASP 2026
Notice No. DSP/HR-OD/Advisor/2026/1781 dated 02.09.2026.
Durgapur Steel Plant (DSP), Durgapur (West Bengal) invites applications for engagement of 4 Advisors for DSP and 2 Advisors for ASP from amongst ex-executives separated in E-7 and below grades from SAIL, to bridge gaps in essential skill sets for critical operational and functional activities.

Eligibility
- Who: Ex-executives separated from SAIL in E-7 and below grades (resignation/VRS/premature/medical-invalidation/vigilance separations not eligible).
- Age: Upper age limit 65 years on the date of issuance of offer; no C grading during last 3 years of SAIL service.
- Tenure: Initial 6 months, extendable by 6 months (Director I/c approval); further 1-year extension possible with Chairman approval.
- Fee: No application fee.
Selection Process
Screening-cum-selection committee clearance followed by interview before the Selection Committee; shortlisting on additional criteria if applications are large. All correspondence by e-mail only.
