Marks & Eligibility Norms
- ME / MTech: minimum 60% aggregate (average of all semesters) or 6.5 CGPA/CPI on 10-point scale
- MSc / BE / BTech: minimum 65% aggregate or 6.84 CGPA/CPI on 10-point scale
- JRF applicants (Post Codes 01-07) must also have qualified CSIR-UGC NET (with Lectureship), GATE, or a national-level exam by DST / DBT / DAE / DOS / DRDO / MoE / ICAR / ICMR / IIT / IISc / IISER / NISER etc., valid on 30.09.2026
- No CGPA-to-percentage conversion permitted; rounding-off of marks not allowed; ODL professional courses not eligible
Age Limit (as on 30.09.2026)
- Post Codes 01-07 (JRF): maximum 28 years
- Post Codes 08-16 (RA / PS-I): maximum 35 years
- Relaxation: 5 years SC/ST, 3 years OBC-NCL, plus Central Govt. employees / PwBD / Ex-servicemen as per GOI rules
