- Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Dairy Chemistry, Agriculture Science, Animal Science, Fisheries Science, Biotechnology, Food Safety, Food Technology, Food and Nutrition, Dairy Technology, Oil Technology or Veterinary Sciences, or equivalent qualification.

Eligibility
- A Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Dairy Chemistry, Agriculture Science, Animal Science, Fisheries Science, Biotechnology, Food Safety, Food Technology, Food and Nutrition, Dairy Technology, Oil Technology or Veterinary Sciences from a university established in India by law, or an associate of the Institution of Chemists (India) by examination in the Food Analysts section, or an equivalent qualification notified by the Food Authority with prior approval of the Central Government.
- At least three years' experience in food analysis in an ISO 17025-accredited food laboratory or equivalent institution recognised by the Central or State Government, or in a food analysis laboratory/research institution/research laboratory.
- The candidate must have been declared qualified for appointment as a Food Analyst by a board appointed and notified by the authority. Persons declared qualified as Public Analyst under the Prevention of Food Adulteration Act, 1954 are also eligible as provided in the rules.
- Age 22 to 45 years as on 1 January 2027. Reserved category candidates of Rajasthan get upper-age relaxation as per State Government rules.
- Non-bonafide residents of Rajasthan will be treated as unreserved candidates and will not get age, category or fee relaxation.
Application Fee
- ₹5,000 for General, OBC, EWS and other candidates.
- ₹2,500 for SC and ST candidates of Rajasthan.
- Fee must be paid online through credit card, debit card, net banking or UPI during the application process. No offline fee is accepted.
Selection Process
- Offline OMR-based written examination conducted by RUHS, Jaipur.
- The paper will have 100 multiple-choice questions of one mark each, to be completed in 2 hours.
- There is no negative marking. The examination will be in English only.
- The exam centre will preferably be in Jaipur; RUHS may change the centre or city if required.
- Document verification and final eligibility will be done by the Department of Medical & Health, Government of Rajasthan.

- Complete the online registration with a valid mobile number and email ID.
- Fill the detailed application form with personal, educational and experience details.
- Upload the required documents, photograph, signature and thumb impressions.
- Pay the examination fee online and submit the application before 30 November 2026.
- Download and keep a copy of the submitted application and fee receipt.

- Valid photo ID (Aadhaar, PAN, driving licence, voter ID or passport).
- Class 10 certificate or mark sheet showing date of birth.
- Class 12 mark sheet or equivalent certificate.
- Degree/provisional certificate and mark sheets of the essential qualification.
- Certificate of declared qualification as Food Analyst/Public Analyst.
- Experience certificate in the prescribed format (Annexure-01 of the information booklet).
- Caste/category certificate, EWS certificate and additional category certificate, if applicable.
- No Objection Certificate from the present employer, if applicable.
- Scanned photograph, signature, right thumb impression and left thumb impression.
