RRC Western Railway Sports Quota Recruitment 2026-27 – Employment Notice No. RRC/WR/01/2026
The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Western Railway, Mumbai invites ONLINE applications from eligible sportspersons who are citizens of India for filling up 21 posts of Group C and 43 posts of erstwhile Group D under the Open Advertisement Sports Quota for the year 2026-27 (Employment Notice No. RRC/WR/01/2026 dated 27-08-2026). There is no reservation for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD & Ex-SM under Sports Quota.

Age Limit
Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 01/01/2027 (candidates born between 01/01/2002 and 01/01/2009).
Educational Qualification
- Level 5/4: Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University.
- Level 3/2: Passed 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent from a recognized Board.
- Level 2/1 (Group D): Passed Matriculation (10th) from recognized Board, plus ITI (where applicable).
- Candidates possessing higher qualification should produce relevant certificates.
Sports Achievement Criteria
- Level 5/4: Participation in National Championships (Junior/Senior) or Asian Games (Senior) or equivalent level tournaments.
- Level 3/2: Participation in National/Senior Championships or World University Games.
- Sports norms/merit as per the sports quota guidelines of the Ministry of Railways.
