Experience
- Tunnel Design Engineer: 20 years after graduation (min. 12 years in major tunnel design; 2 tunnel construction/supervision & 3 tunnel design projects of ≥1.5 Km each).
- Bridge / Structural Engineer: 10 years in Highway/Bridge projects (5 years in bridge construction/supervision, 2 Major Highway Bridges, 2 rehabilitation works).
- Tunnel Safety Expert: 20 years after graduation (7 years tunnel safety management in developed countries, 10 years tunnel safety works, 2 tunnel safety audits of ≥1.5 Km tunnels).
- Senior Geotechnical Expert: 20 years (10 years tunnel construction/supervision in developed countries, 4 tunnel projects ≥1.5 Km, shaft sinking ≥200 m).
- Senior Geologist: 20 years after graduation (7 years transportation tunnel supervision, 5 years Himalayan NATM tunnel projects, 2 highway tunnel projects ≥1.5 Km).
- Senior Contract Expert: 15 years in Contract Management (4 years as Contract Specialist, Rs.150 Cr+ contract management, 1+ arbitration case).
- Instrumentation & Control Expert (SCADA): 15 years (10 years SCADA-like subsystems, 2 surveillance/security projects, 7 years hardware configuration).
- Tunnel Lining Expert: 10 years after graduation (5 years as Tunnel Lining Expert, 2 major tunnelling projects).
- Safety Engineer: 15 years after graduation (5 years transportation tunnel safety, min. 1 tunnel safety audit of ≥2.5 Km tunnel).
- Survey Engineer: 5 years after Diploma in surveying (3 years highway projects, 1 similar project, total station/digital level proficiency).
Mandatory: Candidates for VC Nos. YP/40-R1 to YP/46-R1 (Category 1 to 6) must provide their INFRACON ID while submitting the application.
Age Limit
- Not exceeding 62 years for all posts except Senior Contract Expert (63 years).
- Age, experience and eligibility reckoned as on 11.10.2026 (last date of submission).
- Training / internship / teaching / fellowship / PhD research period shall not be counted as experience.
