Eligible Works Definition
Eligible Works shall mean: Consultancy work as "Project Management Consultant/General Consultant" for a new railway line or gauge conversion of a railway line or doubling/tripling/quadrupling of a railway line or modern rail-based mass rapid transit system excluding LRT/TRAM/Monorail Systems.
Age Limit
Not exceeding 63 years for all categories. Age, experience, and all other eligibility criteria reckoned as on last date of submission of application (13/09/2026).
Tenure of Engagement
Individual Consultant will be engaged as per requirement which may be extended by one year at a time. However, no extension will be given beyond the age of 65 years. Continuation beyond first and subsequent years contingent on satisfactory Annual Performance Review.
Selection Process

- Candidates evaluated on Technical skills, subject knowledge, experience, communication and interpersonal skills.
- RITES reserves the right to shortlist number of candidates for selection.

- RITES can terminate the contract at any time without prior notice; normal notice period is one month.
