- Essential: full-time Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from a recognised university/institute; CL/11/26 additionally requires ASNT/ISNT Level-II certification in MPT
- Experience: Diploma holders need a minimum of 8 years and degree holders a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience in QA/QC/testing (destructive or non-destructive), preferably in steel plants and rolling, forging or casting industries
