- UR/EWS candidates should have first class degree / minimum 60% marks in Minimum Qualification for unreserved posts; reserved category candidates (SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD) should have at least 50% marks for reserved posts.
- Degree should be recognized by AICTE/UGC from a University incorporated by an Act of Central or State legislature in India, or a Deemed University (Sections A & B of IE(I) treated equivalent to Degree by Govt. of India also accepted).
- Training / internship / teaching / fellowship / PhD research experience shall NOT be counted. Apprenticeship training (as per Apprenticeship Act 1961) in relevant discipline shall be considered.
Age Relaxation
- RITES regular/contract employees: 5 years; SC/ST: 5 years; OBC (NCL): 3 years; J&K residents: 5 years; PwBD: 10 years (in addition to category relaxation where applicable).
Application Fee
- General/OBC Candidates: Rs. 600/- plus taxes as applicable.
- EWS/SC/ST/PwD Candidates: Rs. 300/- plus taxes as applicable (refunded upon participation in written test / interview).
Selection Process
- Written Test: 125 objective type questions, 2.5 hours, no negative marking. Minimum qualifying: 50% for UR/EWS (45% for SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD against reserved posts). Weightage 60%.
- Document Scrutiny based on written test result and vacancies.
- Interview: candidates called in ratio 1:6 to the number of vacancies. Weightage 40%.
- Total weightage: Written Test 60% + Interview 40%. Candidates may opt for selection process in Hindi or English.
