Rajiv Gandhi Super Speciality Hospital (RGSSH), Tahirpur, Delhi, a 650-bedded tertiary care hospital under the aegis of the Govt. of NCT of Delhi, intends to engage Retired / Superannuated pensioners from Government-owned or controlled Hospitals / Medical Institutes for the post of Sub Fire Officer on a contract basis against a sanctioned post lying at the institute.

Eligibility

The applicant should have superannuated from the same post or a higher post in the hierarchy. The retired Government servant should be clear from the vigilance angle.

Terms & Conditions of Engagement

• Engagement is initially for a period of two years, extendable to a maximum of 05 years, subject to satisfactory performance, or till attainment of the age of 65 years, or till regular appointment is made – whichever is earlier.
• Maximum age limit for engagement: 65 years.
• The incumbent continues to draw pension and dearness relief thereon during the period of engagement; the engagement is not treated as re-employment.
• No HRA, no residential telephone/mobile call reimbursement, no transport facility, no residential accommodation and no HPCA. No Government vehicle is provided.
• No TA/DA for interview, joining or completion; no foreign travel at Government expense. Domestic TA/DA for official work is allowed as per entitlement on the date of retirement.
• Eligible for 8 days’ leave per calendar year on pro-rata basis; no remuneration for absence beyond 8 days; unavailed leave cannot be carried forward.
• The engagement is temporary and may be cancelled at any time without assigning any reason.
