RGNIYD Sriperumbudur – Contract Posts through Walk-in Interview

The Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development (RGNIYD), Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu — an Institution of National Importance under the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India — invites applications from eligible Indian nationals for engagement on a purely temporary and contractual basis at its Headquarters at Sriperumbudur and its Regional Centre at Chandigarh. Training Associate

Qualification: Postgraduate degree in Social Sciences with a minimum of 55% marks; preference to candidates with a specialisation in Youth Development. Experience: minimum 2 years in Training or Teaching in reputed institutions/organisations.

Additional requirements: proficiency with e-Office systems and standard computer applications; excellent written and oral communication; working knowledge of English and Hindi along with proficiency in any other language; familiarity with local and regional languages; willingness to serve at Regional Centres and to travel to various centres across the country; ability to conduct national-level training programmes; experience in preparing training proposals including budgeting; competence in drafting comprehensive training reports.

Junior Assistant

Qualification: Any Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised University/Institute/College with a minimum of 55% marks. Experience: minimum 1 year in Administration / Academic / Examination Sections in Central Government Educational Institutions or Central Universities; hands-on experience with the e-Office system; proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel; working knowledge of Central Government rules and regulations (CCS/CCA), UGC norms and related administrative procedures.

The engagement is strictly temporary and is subject to the Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) executed with CAES; it stands terminated on expiry, revocation or premature termination of the MoA.

Part Time Medical Officer (Female)

Qualification: MBBS with DGO (Medical Council of India recognised); MD/MS desirable. Experience: minimum 2 years after completion of the required qualification. Visiting days: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday between 4.00 PM and 6.00 PM. Conveyance allowance of Rs. 500 per visit if the doctor’s residence is within 5 km of the institute, and Rs. 1,000 beyond 5 km. Period of appointment: 11 months.

Consultant (Finance and Administration), RC Chandigarh

Qualification: Minimum a Graduate in any discipline; conversant with working knowledge of computers. Experience: should have retired in minimum Pay Level 10/09/08 (Grade Pay 5400/4800 as per 6th CPC) from a Government of India Institute, University, State University or State/Central Government department, with experience in General Administration, Finance and Accounts, Legal Matters and Establishment. Period of appointment: 11 months.

Walk-in Interview Details

• Registration and certificate verification: 08.30 AM to 09.30 AM. Interview: 10.30 AM onwards. Registration may close after the prescribed reporting time.
• Venue (Headquarters): Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development, Bangalore to Chennai Highway, Sriperumbudur – 602 105, Kancheepuram District, Tamil Nadu.
• Venue (Regional Centre): RGNIYD Regional Centre, Chandigarh, Sector 12, Chandigarh – 160 012.

Documents to be Brought

1. Duly filled prescribed application form (downloadable from the Institute’s website; only applications in the prescribed format will be accepted).
2. Recent passport-size photographs (2 nos).
3. Original certificates and testimonials for verification, plus one set of self-attested photocopies.
4. Proof of date of birth, educational qualifications and marks/grades.
5. Experience certificates clearly indicating the duration and nature of experience.
6. Category certificate, wherever applicable.
7. Valid Government-issued photo identity proof.

General Instructions

• The engagement is purely temporary and contractual, initially for 11 months, extendable subject to satisfactory performance and institutional requirements. Extension is not automatic.
• The contractual appointment confers no right or claim for regular or permanent employment in RGNIYD.
• The Institute may adopt any screening/shortlisting procedure depending on the number of candidates. Mere attendance at the walk-in interview or fulfilment of the minimum eligibility criteria shall not confer any right to selection.
• No TA/DA will be paid and no accommodation will be provided. Requests for online interviews or change of venue will not be entertained.
• Candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, PwD, Women and Minority communities are encouraged to attend.
• The number of vacancies is tentative and may be increased or decreased. RGNIYD reserves the right not to fill any or all positions.
• Selected contractual employees shall not undertake any secondary employment without prior approval of the Institute.
• Jurisdiction for any dispute is the court having jurisdiction over Chennai.
