Overview
Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University (RGNAU), Fursatganj, Amethi (a Central University under the Ministry of Civil Aviation, GoI) invites online applications for engagement of 06 Junior Technicians (on contract) (Advt No. RGNAU/5290/04/ADMIN/JT/489 dated August 28, 2026). Engagement is purely contractual, initially for one year, extendable up to a maximum of 3 years on yearly renewal basis subject to performance evaluation and requirement. Specializations: Aerospace/Mechanical/Electronics & Communication/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/IT, Physics, Chemistry etc. (indicative, not exhaustive).

Eligibility
- Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Science (BSc) or equivalent in the appropriate field OR 3-year Diploma in Engineering in the appropriate field. Wireman License/Permit from the Chief Electrical Inspector/Competent Authority is essential for candidates with electrical specialization.
- Experience: 2 years experience in laboratory in an academic institution, with knowledge of computer applications. Desirable: experience in Central/State Government, Autonomous Universities/Institutions or PSU.
Remuneration
Consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs. 35,000/-. No other allowances are admissible.
Age Limit
Maximum 30 years as on the closing date of application.
