ANGRAU, Regional Agricultural Research Station (RARS), Chintapalle invites walk-in interviews for engagement of Research Associate (1 post) under the "Gramin Krishi Mausam Sewa (GKMS)" scheme, AMFU, funded by IMD, Government of India, New Delhi. Engagement is purely on temporary and contractual basis for 11 months.

Eligibility Criteria

• Essential: Post-graduation in Agro-meteorology from an ICAR-accredited University.
• Alternative: If Agro-meteorology candidates are not available, candidates with qualifications in Agronomy / Meteorology / Agriculture Physics will be considered.
• Desirable: Knowledge/experience in meteorological data processing, interpretation with field data, agricultural knowledge with experience, remote sensing, crop simulation modeling, computer knowledge (English and Telugu typing, statistical software). Reading and writing in local languages is compulsory.
• Age Limit: 40 years for Men, 45 years for Women as on closing date.

Terms of Engagement

• Tenure: 11 months purely on temporary and contractual basis.
• Engagement will be terminated after completion of 11 months; no claim for regular appointment or further continuation.
• Concealing of facts or canvassing will lead to disqualification/termination.
