PSSSB Punjab Line Superintendent Answer Key 2026

The Subordinate Services Selection Board, Punjab (PSSSB) has released the provisional answer key for the post of Line Superintendent (Advt No. 11/2026) under the Punjab Government Electricity Department (Energy Branch). The written examination was conducted on 19 July 2026 and the answer key was released on 21 July 2026.

Eligibility

• Educational: Three years Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution; Matriculation with Punjabi as compulsory/elective subject; 50% marks in Punjabi Language qualifying test
• Age Limit: 18–37 years (General), 42 years (SC), 45 years (Govt. Employees), 40 years (Widows/Divorcees) as on 01-01-2026
• Domicile: Mandatory Punjab domicile certificate (not older than 5 years)

Selection Process

1. Written Examination — Objective MCQ type
   • Part A: Punjabi Language paper (Matriculation level) — qualifying only, min 50% required
   • Part B: Subject-specific paper — merit list based on Part B marks only
   • Negative marking: 1/4 mark deducted for each wrong answer
2. Counselling / Document Verification — Shortlisted candidates called for verification

Important Notes

• Group-C post under Punjab Government Electricity Department
• Reservation benefits available only to Punjab residents
• Candidates from Adv. No. 08/2023 must re-apply fresh (fee exempted)
• Category/Code cannot be changed after form submission
• No TA/DA for written examination or counselling
