PSSCIVE Bhopal – Project Staff (12 Posts / 13 Vacancies) on Contract Basis – Advt 04/2026

PSS Central Institute of Vocational Education (PSSCIVE), Bhopal – a constituent unit of NCERT (an autonomous organisation under the Ministry of Education, Government of India) – is conducting walk-in-interviews for appointment of Project Staff on a contractual basis for projects approved by the DoSEL Project Approval Board (PAB), Ministry of Education, and the Programme Advisory Committee (PAC) of NCERT. The duration of engagement is up to 31 March 2027, or as per the terms of the approved project.

NET/SLET/SET relaxation: candidates awarded a Ph.D. as per UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 (and amendments) are exempt, provided the Ph.D. was awarded in regular mode, thesis evaluated by at least two external examiners, an open Ph.D. viva voce conducted, two research papers published from the Ph.D. work (at least one in a referred journal), and at least two papers presented at UGC/ICSSR/CSIR-sponsored conferences — certified by the Registrar or Dean (Academic Affairs). Candidates registered for Ph.D. before 11 July 2009 are governed by the then-existing ordinances of the awarding institution. NET/SLET/SET is also not required for Master's programmes in disciplines where no such test is conducted.

• Interested candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria may attend the walk-in interview on the scheduled date and time at PSSCIVE, Shyamla Hills, Bhopal – 462 002. Separate applications must be filled for more than one post.
• Posts are purely temporary and purely contractual, with no provision of increment in remuneration, and carry no claim to regular employment at PSSCIVE. PSSCIVE reserves the right to fill or not fill any or all posts, and to terminate the engagement at any time without assigning reasons.
• Candidates already employed must produce a relieving certificate at the time of joining. Selected candidates must join immediately.
• No TA/DA is payable for attending the skill test / walk-in interview or for joining the post.

• Candidates claiming the required experience for posts with consolidated remuneration of Rs. 40,000/- and above must submit an attested copy of salary slip / bank statement / ITR at the time of interview, where experience forms an essential condition.
• Time spent pursuing M.Phil. and/or Ph.D. shall not count as teaching or research experience for eligibility.
• Experience in research / teaching / training / extension activities / content development should be in relation to school education.
