Department of Psychiatry, PGIMER Chandigarh invites applications for the post of Senior Consultant (Assistant Professor) under the National Tele Mental Health Programme (Tele MANAS) for the Regional Coordinating Centre & Mentoring Institute (RCC & MI) at PGIMER, Chandigarh. The position will be under the Principal Investigator, Additional Professor Dr Akhilesh, Department of Psychiatry.

Job Responsibilities
- Will be the In-charge/head of the cell and will be responsible for overseeing the overall functioning of the cell.
- Provide specialist audio/video consultations.
- Assist PWMI and other users of Tele MANAS.
- Develop curated modules and manuals for service delivery.
- Supervise the MHPs (Psychiatry, CP, PSW, Nursing) and lay counsellors of the state.
- Training and evaluation.
- First level escalation of issues, conflict resolution and monthly report preparation.
- Provide state level data as and when required to state, apex institute and centre.
- Conduct/be part of high quality scientific research in tele mental health.
- Liaise with the apex institute, central ministry and state govt for effective service delivery.
