Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, an Institute of National Importance under Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India, invites applications for the post of Senior Resident on purely ad-hoc/contractual basis for a period of 11 months (extendable subject to performance and availability of funds).

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: MD / MS / DM / MCh / Diploma in the relevant specialty/displine from a recognized medical college/institution registered with NMC / State Medical Council.
• Registration: Must be registered with the National Medical Commission (NMC) or the respective State Medical Council.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in the relevant specialty/ discipline.
• Age Limit: Maximum 45 years as on the last date of application (relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates as per central govt. norms).

• Medical Fitness Certificate

Pay / Salary

• Monthly pay as per 7th Central Pay Commission (7th CPC) recommendations for Senior Residents
  (Pay Matrix Level 10: ₹57,700 – ₹1,ran,000 + applicable allowances)
